What if Apple update their firmware to 2.3 will the turbo sim still work?
We have brand new Turbo SIM and it should work for 2.3 upgrades, but no one knows what will be in 2.3 - so we cant give you 100% guarantee.
So that means I will need to buy a new turbo sim everytime Apple upgrade their firmware?
- we are not a turbo sim card manufactures neither apple development team. It is really hard to say at the moment till which firmware the current turbo sim will work. All depends what will be upgraded in future firmware and how compactable it will be with turbo sim. Maybe old turbo sim will work with firware 2.3 - who knows

Does the turbo sim unlocks my iphone 3G even if the baseband has already been upgraded to 2.2 firmware?
– Yes it will, but its not stable and we strongly recommend to downgrade to 2.1 You can find the manual in our members area.
I have an iphone 3g 16gb, which cannot read a sim card. A technician in Dubai said that my iphone locked up since i accidentally upgraded the firmware to 2.2 through i-tunes. He said up to this time no hardware solutions are available for the 2.2 and left my iphone as a 4thousand dirham ipod.
Also told me that even if I downgraded to FW 2.1 it will not unlock not until developers have a solution for the 2.2 FW.
